When you are in your forties or fifties, do you seem to no longer look forward to love? Chiaki Yoshino (Kyoko Koizumi), 45 years old, single, is a TV producer. She has a good income and close friends, but she no longer has hope for love. Chiaki, who feels that she will grow old alone, considers retirement and spends all her savings to buy an old house in the ancient capital of Kamakura. While inspecting Kamakura, she met 50-year-old Nagakura Heihei (Kiichi Nakai), a staff member of the local Tourism Promotion Department. The two of them are like Tom and Jerry, and they have a bad relationship. Coincidentally, Chiaki's neighbor is the Nagakura family, and Heihei's younger brother Shinpei (Kenji Sakaguchi) runs a coffee shop. The healing Shinpei rekindles Chiaki's love heart and gets closer and closer to the Nagakura family. In addition to Shinpei and Nagakura, there are also the nagging younger sister Noriko (Naoko Iijima) and Mariko (Yuki Uchida) who is afraid of strangers, and interesting things keep happening. At the age of 45, half of her life is about to pass, and she has become an "Obasan" in the mouths of others. The word love makes people timid and embarrassed, but it is still truly beautiful. The next time you fall in love, treat it as your second to last love. Even if it is the future of an "old lady", there is still hope.
