Following Band of Brothers and The Pacific, the third installment of Spielberg and Tom Hanks' "World War II Trilogy" Masters of Air is currently being produced by Apple. The limited series Masters of Air is adapted from Donald L. Miller's original novel of the same name and revolves around the true and personal story of the Eighth Air Force of the United States during World War II, which brought strategic bombing to Hitler and Nazi Germany. John Orloff, the screenwriter of Band of Brothers, will write the script for Masters of Air, and Spielberg and Hanks are both executive producers.
