The film is adapted from Kim Hye-jin's best-selling book of the same name. Focusing on marginalized groups such as female sexual minorities and lonely elderly people, it tells the story of a queer person and her mother reaching "best understanding". The independent daughter moved in with her mother due to financial problems, and she brought her same-sex partner home. The mother was confused.
