The story takes place in an era of heroic knights, beautiful princesses, and battles with wizards. Ruslan, a wandering artist, dreams of becoming a knight. He meets the beautiful princess Mira and falls in love with her. They spend a wonderful time together outside the castle. However, happiness does not last long. In order to fulfill his conspiracy, the evil magician Chernomor kidnaps Mira with a magic vortex right in front of Ruslan's eyes. After a panic, Ruslan begins to try to cross the magic forest to find the princess.
