Doctor Who is a long-lived British science fiction TV series produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation. The Ninth Doctor in the 2005 version is a melancholic war survivor who has experienced the Time War. He sealed his race and his enemy, the Daleks, and is the only one who survived. The show tells the story of a mysterious alien time traveler named "Doctor" (Christopher Eccleston), and his adventures in his time and space machine TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space), which looks like a police box in the 1950s. The Doctor and his partner Rose (Billie Piper) explore and travel in time and space, fight evil forces, save civilization, help people, correct mistakes, and solve various problems.
