This drama is adapted from Keigo Higashino's novel of the same name. It tells the story of Shigeki Nagamine (played by Takenouchi Yutaka), a father who depends on his daughter for life, who becomes a murderer for revenge after his daughter is brutally murdered. Shigeki Nagamine has been raising his daughter Ema alone since his wife died, and in the blink of an eye, his daughter is already in high school. One night, Ema went to work and did not return home. A few days later, Nagamine received a mysterious call, telling him the name and address of the murderer who hurt his daughter. After hesitating for a long time, he decided to find the person.
