Starz announced that it will film the limited series "The Spanish Princess", a sister series of "The White Queen" and "The White Princess", with Charlotte Hope playing the leading role. The series is based on the novels "The Constant Princess" and "The King's Curse" written by Philippa Gregory, and is now scheduled to premiere on May 8th, US time. The protagonist of "The Spanish Princess" is Catherine of Aragon (played by Charlotte Hope). She is beautiful, smart, and born in the Spanish royal family. Because of a political marriage, she brought the Moorish lady Lina to England to marry Arthur, Prince of Wales, and became the Princess of Wales. However, before the two had their wedding night, Arthur died of illness. Catherine of Aragon claimed that she was still a virgin, and if the previous marriage could be judged invalid, she could marry Henry, the second son of Henry VII (who would succeed to the throne as Henry VIII in the future). Other starring roles include Stephanie Levi-John, Nadia Parkes, Aaron Cobham, Angus Imrie, Dame Harriet Walter, Laura Carmichael, Ruairi O'Connor, Georgie Henley, Elliot Cowan, Alexandra Moen, Philip Cumbus and Alan McKenna.
