The Korean boy Wu He (played by So Ji-sub) was abandoned by his parents at birth. He was adopted by an Australian family at the age of two. He ran away from home at the age of 10 because of domestic violence. Street artist Paul adopted him, but when Paul met a shallow woman, Wu He was abandoned again. Wu He has been living a wandering life, stealing chickens and dogs. When he grew up, Wu He met a Korean girl Zhiying (played by Cui Ruzhen). Although they loved each other deeply, Zhiying finally chose to leave for money. At Zhiying's wedding, Wu He was shot twice in order to protect her, and one of the bullets remained in his head forever, which meant that his life was coming to an end. Wu He returned to his homeland, and then he discovered that his parents did not abandon him because of poverty. They had always lived a very rich life, and his younger brother became a star. Wu He decided to retaliate against his biological mother to compensate for the suffering he had suffered all the time...
