The drama tells the story of the father-daughter relationship between a clumsy father and a rebellious daughter. Nishijima Hidetoshi plays the talented conductor Natsume Shunpei, but he has zero ability except for music. Ashida Mana plays his daughter, Natsume Hibiki, a 20-year-old woman who works in the city government. Hibiki, who is completely opposite to her father, hates music and lives a life without music. She parted with her father because of "some incident" 5 years ago, but her father suddenly returned to his country after decades, and the two began an awkward cohabitation life.
