The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Maiko Seo. It tells the story of two colleagues who have diseases and troubles that are difficult for ordinary people to understand and help each other to overcome their respective traumas. Fujisawa Misa, who suffers from premenstrual syndrome, explodes in anger because of something done by Yamazoe Takatoshi, who has just transferred to the company. Misa, who is in self-loathing, learns that Takatoshi actually suffers from panic disorder. Gradually, in order to gain the understanding of other colleagues, the two of them become comrades who are neither friends nor lovers. Even if their symptoms have not improved, they will still think about whether they can help each other.
