Introduction
The play is adapted from a true story. On December 21, 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 from London to New York was attacked by terrorists, killing 259 passengers and crew members, and 11 local residents of Lockerbie. Dr. Jim Swire (Colin Firth), whose daughter also died in the Lockerbie air crash, was nominated as a spokesman for the British victims' families and tried his best to investigate the truth of the air crash.
