Buffalo Green High School welcomes the annual graduation ceremony. The dull boy Dennis Koufman (Paul Rust) takes the stage as a student representative to give a speech. To everyone's surprise, this unremarkable guy actually said "I love you" to the school beauty, cheerleader Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere) in public. For Dennis, this is just a wish of his own. The rest is to spend the graduation party happily with his good buddy Rich (Jack Carpenter). But that night Beth actually brought two sisters to Dennis's side.
