This story is adapted from the New York Times' most popular novel of the year, the 2008 work of the same name. In the story, Adrien Brody plays Porter Wren, a writer in Manhattan, who was originally a model father and husband. He responded to the help of a strange woman to track down her husband who was mysteriously murdered, but gradually fell into a peach dispute. JB plays his wife Lisa Wren. The film is directed by Brian DeCubellis, and other actors include Jennifer Beals, Australian actor Yvonne Strahovski, Campbell Scott who has worked with JB many times, Linda Lavin who won the Emmy Award for Best Actress, and British actor Steven Berkoff.
