The story takes place in June 1941. The Bug River echoed with laughter and joy. Just when everything was peaceful and prosperous, several planes flew over and dropped bombs, destroying everything. In an instant, the riverside became a sea of blood and fire. The German invasion plunged the Brest Fortress between Warsaw and Moscow into turmoil and war. In order to protect their country, 8,000 Soviet Red Army soldiers took up arms, said goodbye to their loved ones, and went to the battlefield. The personnel situation in the hastily established army was very complicated, but everyone had the same belief in their hearts, that is, to stubbornly resist the invasion of bandits. Food was scarce, weapons were simple, and equipment was shabby. Under extremely harsh conditions, the Soviet youths and the well-equipped enemy launched one fierce battle after another, and finally won.
