The film tells the story of a Brazilian elite couple who own a private security company. They have a habit of eating their own employees and are celebrity members of the "Cannibal Club". When the wife accidentally discovers the secret that the club's chairman is also a member of Congress, not only their leisurely cannibalistic life is over, but also their own lives are in danger. Gutopalenci cleverly uses the metaphors of blood, violence and sex to brilliantly satirize Brazil's contemporary politics and colonial history, showing a power that is more terrifying than the habit of cannibalism.
