Description:Hachiko (Forest) is a mysterious dog because no one knows where he comes from. Professor Parker (Richard Gere) picked up a lost puppy at the train station in the small town. It seemed destined that the puppy and Professor Parker had some kind of fate. Once Parker picked up the puppy, he could never put it down. In the end, Parker's love for the puppy Hachiko influenced his wife Carter (Joan Allen), who was initially strongly opposed to raising a dog. Hachiko grew up slowly under Parker's care.
