Experienced truck driver Ghalib was about to reach 500,000 kilometers, a record for his company, when he felt a sharp pain in his back. Ghalib decided to go home and found a letter on his doorstep. He went to his village to defend the compensation claim filed against him by his late wife's family. The village committee ruled against Ghalib and gave him 30 days to decide on a fair compensation. While Ghalib worked to recover from his back injury, he was asked to train a new driver, which made him worry that his work and life would slip out of control. Like any milestone, Ghalib paid a price for his record.
