The film mainly tells the story of how Duanmu Xi (Jia Zhengyu), a ghost who uses his life to maintain the balance of yin and yang in the world, signs a lifelong contract with Yang Jinghua (Meng Zidi), a ghost who died in a car accident. The two people with completely different personalities get along with each other in a ridiculous way and fight together. The intervention of Duanmu Xi's fiancée Qin Shiyao (Chen Shujun) and the provocation of the villain Situ Lu (Yu Yijie) also add a lot of color to the story.
