The film tells the story of Cami who calls a taxi to take her to her father's home in the country, hoping for a quiet and peaceful ride. But the chatty taxi driver, Spencer, takes a wrong turn and the car stalls again on a dark and remote road. After several unexplained events, Cami and Spencer realize they are being watched by an unseen presence that thinks they are intruders and that they are facing a deadly killing spree.
