Taxi Driver tells the story of taxi drivers in Singapore. The inspiration and concept of the story are adapted from the true story of the protagonist in the best-selling novel "Diary of a Taxi Driver". Dr. Chua, played by Gomit Singh, was fired and could not find a job. He attempted suicide and met the taxi driver "Atou" played by Li Guohuang. With nowhere else to go, Dr. Chua became a taxi driver, but he was too ashamed to tell his family about this job. The two also went from being incompatible to supporting each other in life and personal problems, from enemies to "good friends"! Dr. Chua also re-understood the true meaning of life through the job of taxi driver.
